VOLLEYBALL 

Key Information

COMPLETING PAYMENT ON KINDO = REGISTRATION 

Volleyball is played in Term 1 & 4 and is avaliable to both new and experienced players. Players can form their own teams with a minimum of 8 players or be placed into a team. Teams will not be entered until all players have made payment. Once payment is made teams will be posted in the gym foyer and entered into the competition.

When - Term 1 & 4 Monday afternoons

Dates - 16th Feb - 30 March 2026

Where - Central Energy Trust Arena 

Time - 3:55pm - 6:15pm 

Unifrom and Equipment - Year 9 are to wear the new Striped Sports Top and Navy shorts. If unavailable please wear a plain white top. 

Year 10-13 students are required to wear the PNGHS white polo top and plain black shorts or tights. 

ALL students are to sign in on arrival. Volleyball can be issued to teams at the Arena.

Information - Any information will be given through the daily notices and school email. Draws will be avaliable weekly in the new gym foyer and this page.

Mar: 2nd, 9th, 16th, 30th

Cost: $55.00 per playerPlayers will not be put into a team until payment is made.


Senior Premier Volleyball League - Term 1 2026

The Senior A and Development team will be entered into the Senior Premier League.

When - Term 1 Tuesday afternoons 

Dates - Feb 10th, 17th, 24th & March 3rd, 10th, 17th

Where - Arena 4 Ballroom Central Energy Trust Arena

NZSS Volleyball Championships

Senior A & Development Teams Term 1 2026. 

Trials for Senior A and Development Teams held in Term 4 2025.

Both Senior A and Development Team will attend Manawatu Qualifying Tournament in Palmerston North.

Senior A team will attend NZSS Volleyball Nationals held in Palmerston North at the CET Arena. ​​​​​​Monday 23rd March - Friday 27th March 2026. 

For NZSS Championships the team will meet daily before games and be together as a team until the end of their last game or duty each day before returning home each night.

Withdrawing from sport 

Unless there is an extreme cicumstances which have been discussed with the Sports Department, there will be no refunding of fees if withdrawing from a sports team/event. 

  • Parent and Student agree to abide by PNGHS Code of Conduct and rules/regulations of sport
  • Parent and Student agree to respect trial results & team selections for their chosen sport
  • Right to participate may be withdrawn if a student or parent fails to adhere to their commitments
  • Uniform to be worn correctly and returned to the school at the end of the season or replacement charges will apply
  • Parent agrees to keep the student's health profile information up to date on the school records
  • Parents agree to pay for all sports fees before first training/game day. Failure to do this will result in your student not being able to play.
