Sports Coordinator - Full time, Permanent Position, 44 weeks per year
Our school is seeking a well organised and collaborative person to work as a Sports Coordinator in our busy Sports Office.
The role requires providing effective and efficient management and coordination of sport leading to quality, well organised programmes meeting students’ needs and encouraging high levels of participation in sporting competitions and recreational activities. The successful applicant would have a deep interest in sport alongside the ability to engage with young people. Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills are key person specifications and the successful applicant must be a team player, able to work alongside and with direction from our Sports Director and liaise with students, parents, teachers and sporting agencies.
Palmerston North Girls’ High School is the only state girls’ secondary school in the Manawatū with a student roll of 1300 and offers a wide range of sports opportunities with a range of entry levels from participation to High Performance. We work within a Culturally Responsive and Relational Framework.
