On Saturday, 25 April, members of our Senior Leadership Team and our student Prefects stood alongside the Palmerston North community to observe the ANZAC Day Commemoration Service.
It was a privilege for our student leaders to represent PNGHS at such a significant event. Laying a wreath on behalf of the school provided a moment of deep reflection, allowing us to feel part of the wider community as we gathered to honour those who served and sacrificed for our country.
Seeing our young wāhine engage with this tradition ensures that the stories of courage and service from over a century ago continue to be remembered by the next generation. We are proud of the respect and dignity our students showed while representing our school values in the public eye.
Lest we forget.
