Year 11 Economics Trip
Year 11 Economics students have been studying Producers - on 22 June we visited three businesses, Mission Kayaks, Progressive Foods Distribution Centre and Valhalla Seeds. This trip proved to be very valuable for students as they were able to see first hand a business that operated in the primary, secondary and tertiary sectors.

Students were able to observe the production process involved when manufacturing kayaks, the automated operation of distribution of foodstuffs and the drying, cleaning and sorting of a variety of seeds including popcorn, rice and lentils. Our thanks go to the businesses who agreed to host our students. With your support the students' understanding of Economics has been enhanced.
