Year 12 Economics
Year 12 Economics
Year 12 Economics is based on LEVEL Three of the National Economics Form 3 to 7 (Year 9 – 13) syllabus and Level 2 NCEA Economics Achievement Standards.
A study of NCEA Level TWO Economics at Palmerston North Girls’ High School aims to:
  • develop an understanding of how and why the economic issues of inflation, growth,  and trade result from market forces and the consequences of these,
  • enable students to be aware of the changing nature of the New Zealand economic environment and understand reasons for this.
  • enable students to be more economically literate regarding issues affecting the New Zealand economy.

We offer 24 credits, 6 of which are attached to the Internal Assessment.
